Buti.Nova is a food for special medical use containing 350 mg of sodium butyrate (including 277 mg of butyric acid) per capsule, which is used for inflammatory and functional bowel diseases.

The daily dose is 700 mg of sodium butyrate with a suggested use of two capsules per day.

Buti.Nova is made with a technology that allows the release of the active substance (butyric acid) in the large intestine. Butyric acid is placed in the encapsulated pellets and additionally in a capsule of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. This protects the substance from degradation in the acidic environment of the stomach. This allows the butyric acid to reach the large intestine, where its gradual release takes place.
